firstly, imho, sg street style is ugly and 20 years outdated. the sg girls like sheep are wearin A CROWN ON EVERYTHING, to make them feel like pRiNcEsS isit?! + black TIGHTS or striped tights under their skirts + disgusting black white POLKA DOTS clothes + 2 layer top w vest + black white or purple black striped tops + mass fake diamond crystals + anal BEADS necklace and bracelets + silver and gold bags and shoes etc + fat plastic hair band and specs

2ndly all the brands all fuking follow, they told me "because its the TREND now ma" as if ppl should want to follow trends? because sg sheep are brainless and UNINDIVIDUALISTIC and like to conform and go with the crowd. if you cant beat them join them? even the surf brands like quicksilver roxy ripcurl, n local SHlT like flesh imp newbie pmk etc months ago started doing the ugly sg streetstyle exactly. to the last gold /crown bag and crown top. and polka dot/stripe clothes. and EVERY shop at bugis street + douby gaut and all local teen stalls and who cares where else

your sample of research is as i can tell, is in sufficiently substantial. Bugis alone? Blanket statements, personal frustrations. i can see what you are trying to say, but probably you should really look around the ENTIRE group of Singaporean youths. Or at least stop looking at minors. they do not represent the street style of Singapore. There is much vibrancy in the fashion scene nowadays, at least growing. I guess different styles appeal to different types of people, however much we dislike them, even I; such as ones girlfriend and anothers wife cannot be the same. One man’s meat, is another man’s sashimi.

i dont need to research, we all can look around us in the train or wherever you go and you'll see the youths ARE mass wearing these, and if you think they are not all buying from bugis, SO WHAT? the point is they are wearing these, who cares where are the other 1000 shops they can buy from. and what personal frustrations, the nation looks similarly ugly is not my frustration. and you said stop looking at minors, but thats what im talking about in this post, im not talking about the older ppl's dressing sense (or lack of it.) yes one man's wife and another wife's dressing should not be the same, interesting analogy, and i agree they should probably not be both wearing tights, crown shirt n accesories + beads + polka dots + ...you know all the rest.
