Well from my own personal experience is becos i am in the technical field and is always rushing for time . Usually we don't really have the time to eat slowly as we have alot of target and deadline to finish else either we have to answer for not meeting the target per day or our boss will be after us to make us explain why we cannot meet their expectation . So far my fastest speed to gobble my lunch is ard 5 to 10mins then rush back to my work or to my van to cheong to another customer site as for cheonging in our van , i have heard of my colleague involved in accident where they speed too much resulting in the whole company van overturned at junctions because of some unexpected delays at some customer place . As for gers usually is because they work in office which gives them officially 1hr fixed time to slowly take their lunch without anyone chasing them . I have female friends who work in the office 8am to 5.30pm job and really almost all of them really take their own sweet time to slowly think , order then eat cos this 1 hr lunch is officially theirs to use and no one will chase them . And most of all nobody will or can scold or say them " gu niang " becos they really are gu niang Razz

not good to be too much faster or slower than others.... if u eat too fast pple feel stressed if u eat too slow pple feel bored waiting for u
