check these;
if new car, will have smell of new rubbers being heated up, and
should not be very bad smell. after a while it should be
gone.
check if the smell comes from brakes. if u notice any particular
wheel smelling bad and being too hot even to touch, check that
brake pistons. they're jammed.
check the clutch clearance. if its sliding, will burn ur clutch
plate. (for manual)
check if the smell seems a bit like rotten egg, its over-charging
your battery. maybe rectifier faulty, or electrical probs. better
solve immediately.
if too much smelling of exhaust, then check ECU mapping as tunning
might b giving too much petrol.
thats pretty much of the most possible smell come out from car. of
coz there cud b other possibilities like wire burning, some
plastics parts touching exhaust assembly, etc. so whats your smell?
