Wedding Robe is Yan Nantian's. He managed to learn it, thanks to the villians in the Villians' Valley.

The novel is not bad but I dun get a few place. When Jiang Yulang poisoned Xiao Yu'er with the mushroom, how did Xiao Yu'er get away unharmed? Obviously, the two lao chio from Yi Hua Palace didn't give him any antidote, if that's the case, how come he managed to get away?

Mmmm,

I think Jiang Yulang would surely gave Xiao Yu'er a lethal dose of any poison so that Jiang can get rid the thorn in his eye, Xiao Yu'er.

If the dosage is lethal, Xiao Yu'er would be sleeping in one of the coffins in the rat's cave, how can he still duel with anyone? Remember that he fell straight on the ground in the duel with Hua Wuque on Mt. Tortoise. How can anyone still pull through that?

I think it's a great novel but this plot just keeps me pondering.

some of the errors or edit by the comic comparing to novel:

- ou yang ding dang brothers (one of shi da er ren), renamed themselves as luo san n luo jiu. comic stated luo san is ou yang ding n luo jiu as ou yang dang. novel stated dat it should be the other way (one of the funniest read in the novel as we know 9 is after 3 but 9 in tis case is the elder bro).

- in the novel, jiang bie he n jiang yu lan getting away scot-free after their skill are destroyed by yan nantian. xiao yu er letting them off after he felt they r better off den dead; in the comic, jiang yu lan made a comeback as 'last boss' n this is better ending. Laughing

- the 1st shi da er ren, du sa died pretty easy in the novel, comic tried to change the fact dat Du Sa fought bravely n die respectly since he is one of respectable villian in the novel.

The shang shan fa er ling and the two da shi were from Xia2 Ke4 Xing2 by Jin1 Yong1.

I dun really like the ending of the novel. "Eveyone live happily ever after" I thought it's something we only see in fairy tales?

Not that I want anyone of them to die lah, but can have more tragedy mah.

Amongst the Ten Villians, I also respect Du Sa the most. He is no different from any hero lor. He kept his words, protect his fellow "villians", I dare to bet that he dotes about Xiao Yu'er the most amongst the five villians that stayed in the valley. Whatever he did, it's just looks like an act by a hero. But he is also very ruthless and cold-hearted, I think these are the characterisic that made him into a villian.

not sure if its the same comic, but the comic i read was miles away. for one thing that fish learned the marriage clothes skill. and also yao yue got fight with yue nantian + others stuff. and later it seems yue nantian and one of the "princcesses" got involved in an affair...........

Scriptwriter cannot find 5 more person to act as the remaining 5 villians, so they reduce the number lor. We see lots of example liao mah. Like the Singapore's The Return of the Condor Heroes, there should be 10 Xi Shan Ghost, they reduce it to 5.

If you compare both the drama and the original works, you will find loads of difference liao.

On the comic issue.

Actually, there is something I dun like about HK comics. They like to create a super villian at the end of the story to act as the last boss, no matter they adopt the story from a great work or of their own creation. If their own creation has the intention of the final boss, that's fine; If they adopt a great work as their story back drop, that's very funny.

I mean the creation of this super villian does make the story ends more spectular but the story also became a Chimera, a monster neither here nor there. (like the Uniquely Singapore's Merlion, neither here not there) The super villian will learn a divine skill that can defeat everyone through a very ridiculous mean in a short time, which is against all laws of nature. This will mislead the readers into believing the comic's tale is the same as the novel.
