Hm, none (manual or auto) guarantees a faster or cheaper
way.
It really depends on your learning ability, whether you're fast or
slow.
It also depends on the school's availability of slots and whether
you can afford to book all the slots you need all at once. If you
can like fork out roughly about $2k at one go, then you can book
all the slots at once, which means you can have lessons everyday
and complete the whole course in less than 2 months. Then waiting
for the test is usually 1 to 1.5 month for school.
And yes, auto although easier to drive, it doesn't mean it's easier
to pass. At BBDC, the passing rate of auto cars at first try is not
really that high.
Well, if you don't see yourself driving a manual car at all, then
go for auto. As for manual, if you don't drive manual after you
pass, very soon you'll forget how to drive a manual also.
