space is good.. powerful…. ermmm.. it’s a heavy car u know… moreover turbo lag hv to be considered. u lose to other on a sprint off.. but high end u win…the triptronic is fun too. need to rev above 3k rpm to feel the power….

At it's stock form and it has turbo lag? That's kind of weird. Can u elaborate more on this 'lag'?

that is rubbish!! for de superb or for any 1.8T Octy..esp de V-RS...that car has no turbo lag..uless u upgrade BIG turbo..on tis stock K03s..tat "tank" is deeptively fast..so smooth n quiet n de delivery is so linear..u dun even feel speed..( tho i prefer sum surge leh..hah )
go to the skoda meetup at kallang on 3rd Jul n u will feel de power from the dark side! ( they are a shy bunch )

Agree with u on de space though..n de build quality is VW vault like..even better than Bimmers liow..as in de AC nielsen survey..
at this price now for what it can offer..the Superb is simply value for $$$$.

Yea.. the 20V 1.8 Turbo is great! No lag at all.. max torque at 1750RPM (if memory serrves me right.. getting old). Huge car, however build quality not as good as the Passat, but still good lah..

wah finally tested the superb, tat damn quick n stable, i got a gentle reminder from my fren (inside the car but back seat) 2 remind mi tat i was travellin at at 120kmh, tat was like so quick?? i peep at e speedo n the needle is still goin!! i was like huh??!! tat was quick n the tiptronic was smooth hardy any lag except when driven hard, turbo whine is v soft n only heard when u r at 2-3k rpm tats normal. too bad no money 2 buy tat range topper elegance, i love the space n legroom at e back, really feel tat im driven 2 work den drive 2 work. but if i wanna b driven 2 work i always got superb taxis.
