trogen SG [quote]Originally posted by trogen: [b]Hi gents, Since you guys are interested in military uniforms, I have a piece of M65 U.S field jacket to sell. I bought it in U.S in 1990. But I'm giving up this hobby recently after more than 20 years and this is one of the last few item that I couldn't bear to let it go. (BTW, I have finished my NSmen training recently and hope to be 100% civilian from now on). This is a U.S government-issued M65 field jacket and is extremely versatile and is made of a poly/cotton blend. It comes with four large snap closure pockets, drawsting waist and hem, heavy duty zipper and a collar concealed hood. It's still in very good and clean condition. Never really wore it before. I'm let it go at SGD 100. If interested, pls sms 96950359.
p7m13 SG Hmm I had that one for at least 3 years+ already. Kept it in storage for too long and something weird happened to the lens man... I think the anti-fog coating corroded... sigh I was in the US for awhile and I bought it there. I think about US$25 - US$30+ if I'm not wrong.
ben1406 SG wow, someone u slept with had a fat one? gd on u.. i dont see why u have a problem with me being fat. it's not like i'm sleeping with u or your sis. so why bother ?
acwire_2125 SG So Any idea the ESS is good in local terrain? I thought of wearing it for hiking in local terrain.
p7m13 SG I just wore my ESS recently... because of our high humidity, lots of water condensation collects in the goggles. I guess it'd be the same case for any type of goggles even if it were anti-fog as our weather is just too harsh on them lol...
Shotgun SG ESS comes with a white color piece of anti-fog cloth. It applies an anti fog layering thats quite useful. Wears off in abt a month or 2 tho, so u need to wipe it on again. I lost that piece of cloth tho... need to replace... sighs
ChineseJunk SG [quote]Originally posted by p7m13: [b]Anyway, my collection of gear... not much but I'm gonna grow it. What do u mean when u say your ESS goggles became "corroded"? What model is the one in the pic? Land Ops? Where do you store them? I've got the NVG Profile, Land Ops and Flight Deck series. I hope mine keep well. US$25-$30 to per pair is about the going rate for brand new ones. For US$30 the fella included free shipping to a US address. That black garment is nomex coveralls? *drools* ben1406 - Good comeback. PM me your address in Canada and I'll see if I can fix u up with one of those camo flag patches.
p7m13 SG Well it's pretty much useless. It won't fog but moisture will definitely build up inside. But it's no harm trying it for yourself for the fun of it as my goggles and your goggles could be different.

I can't wipe away the glittery stuff for some reason. Any cleaning solution you can recommend? My goggles are an ESS Tactical XT. I think it's the most basic of the range. The black garment is actually a ranger vest I got from aussie for $50. I'm thinking of replacing it with a real tactical vest. Post pics of your gear collection people!
ChineseJunk SG Have u tried alcohol-based hand rubs? I use it to polish my model plane canopies.... removes the masking tape glue very well.
