Hogzilla SG Huh? Type O dun need donate meh? I thought O is the universal donor, while AB is the universal receiver? If that's not the case, then my two years of Bio in Secondary school and the Bio textbook is very wrong liao lor.
nightzip SG i think there will be a blood donation drive around west side before chinese new year..ard feb...will update you all if interested.
NotFromVenus SG Most of these storage of blood are charged into the Patients Expenses . With your GST . And they call this donation? I don't see any lowering in cost for consultancy. Since when people get benefits for what they contribute in Singapore? If they can make you donate kidneys , NKF will close
the Bear SG i guess you are one of those people who figure the cost of the fishball you eat is the cost of the fish.. no labour cost, no manufacture cost, no refridgeration cost, no transportation cost... again, i kinda pity you...
NotFromVenus SG Donate your kidney , and also one of your balls , you don't need half of what you deserve.
dragg SG make it legal. the poor gets a avenue to make a bit of money and the bank get the blood they badly need.
Gordonator SG it will lead to crimes as well. criminals might kill innocent people on the streets and drain all their blood and sell for money. (kinda reminds me of an episode of triple 9 )
photo_seeker SG I guess you just don't see the whole picture of donating blood to others. You can keep your blood for all you wish. For those regular donor, they'll know what privileges they enjoy at PolyClinics and Hospital.
photo_seeker SG And Singapore will suffer the same situation as China when they make it legal to be paid for their donation.
photo_seeker SG I'll keep a look-out and update you. Temples and churches have donations drives as well. If you don't mind, I can update you as well.
