Nope, next. Besides i dun think i can really describe what i really saw. All i remember was vehicle with a long tail, covered in canvas, and under the canvas looks like multiple tubes.

Back then i first thought it was some kinda MLRS system.

I just got to say this, this (multiple tubes thingy) could be some false alarm lah! Who knows, the vehicle could be transporting some tubes to be laid in some military camps for the flow of NEWater there! hahahaha

Anyway, let me call up my friend in DSTA and see does he/she knows about this...

That vehicle was bloody long leh. Not like the usual tonner length. But of course, it could be as black aces said, some vehicle transporting some tube like objects... but if its just PVC pipes n stuff, why cover in canvas?

Anyways, nope on that MLRS pic again. I dun think there's that many tubes. And the tubes were fatter.

This is the Crotale SAM launcher on a Nordic LAV.

These are the two closest systems to the description. Laughing Crotale was listed as a purchase under a 2003 or 2004 notification in arms sales. Can't remember the link though.

No lah, of course I know the gender of my friend. But as we do not know who is reading this thread as well, it is better that I put my friend's gender as ambiguous and not make it easy for the SOMEONE to identify my friend easily.
