H&K may manufacture fine firearms, but their customer
service in the US civilian sector leaves much to
be desired. I have heard horror stories from club members about
their experiences trying to get H&K to honor legitimate
warranty claims on their pistols. E-mails and phone calls to their
customer/technical support department go unanswered, and if you're
lucky enough to actually get a hold of a rep there, they'll try to
pin the cause of the problem or malfunction on 'operator error.'
Very, very unprofessional, by all accounts.
(On the other hand, you have firearms companies here that provide
outstanding customer service, like Springfield Armory, CZ-USA and
Ruger.)
