The treatment facilities include a dental unit, four X-ray rooms
and an operating theatre.
Some of the operations performed range from dental to
Neurosurgery.
The SAF team joining the ship next month will be working in various
units of the ship.
The team consists of 1 dentist, 2 anaesthetists, 1 surgeon and 2
medics and will be onboard for one month.
The ship has a pharmacy and medical supply centre and can hold

needy.
"We look forward to being able to contribute to the humanitarian
effort together with the members of the military medical community
of other navies. We look forward to providing both surgical care
and dental care to the people in Indonesia," said Major Dr Tang
Kong Choong, Republic of Singapore Navy, Medical Service.
When they arrive in Indonesia, the patients will be flown in by one
