North Korea has been one of the world's most secretive societies.
It is one of the few countries still under communist
rule.
North Korea
has apparently finished loading fuel into a long-range ballistic
missile, The test would probably take place over water, not
land, and occur during daylight hours, the official said. North
Korea is 14 hours ahead of the East Coast.
The United States would probably know "within seconds" that a
launch had taken place, the official said.
"It's big, it shakes, and we have a lot of ways to watch and
listen," the official said.
2.Due to geographical position.the missiles must shoot overhead
Japan
in order heading US.Thats is why FM of Japan,if will be serious
consquences
if the missiles falls in Japan. What he means is it is OK if the
missiles fly

3.I think the missiles will heading to latin or south
America.
The distance is long enough to show it can reach at least LA.
or another major city in central part of US.
But it will not falls on US soil, for the time being.
4.Read today 20.06.2006 STimes,the fuel will damage
the missiles if fuel stay long in the fuel tank.
It will be complicated to extracted the fuel fr fuel tank.
19.06.2006 marks the annversiary of Kim in power.

Report: U.S. activates missile defense system
South Korea: North's missile on launching pad
SEOUL, South Korea (Reuters) -- The United States has moved its
ground-based interceptor missile defense system from test mode to
operational amid concerns over an expected North Korean missile
launch, a U.S. defense official said Tuesday.
South Korean Foreign Minister Ban Ki-moon said on Tuesday that
North Korea had put its long-range Taepodong-2 missile on a
launching pad, but it was unclear if the missile was fully
fueled.
Meanwhile, Pyongyang said it would not be bound by a 2002 treaty
prohibiting launches of ballistic missiles.
The U.S. defense official, speaking on condition of anonymity,
confirmed a Washington Times report that the Pentagon has activated
its missile defense system, which has been in the developmental
stage for years.
"It's good to be ready," the official said.
U.S. officials say evidence such as satellite pictures suggests
Pyongyang may have finished fueling the Taepodong-2 missile, which
some experts said could reach as far as Alaska.
