cmeptb SG Who do you think are the greatest generals? Here's my list: Hannibal Barca Scipio Africanus Erwin Rommel
Texcoco II SG Hey...why no Alexander the Great? Hannibal once said to Scipio Africanus that the greatest general he ever known was Alexander the great, the man who crushed every single army that appeared before him
|-|05| SG hitler was weird. sometimes good sometimes bad. I think he had more of a gut feeling then anythign else
|-|05| SG Not sure if he was given the rank or not but i strongly believe Bortha commander of the Boer forces in the Boer war deserves some mention. Beating the British army. Fleet Admiral Nelson was also pretty damn good. Ofcause he was an Admiral and not really a General. But he had no equal.
Texcoco II SG Yeah, Hitler is so "Amazing" that he cause the Paulus's army to be wiped out in Stanlingrad
gd4u SG but unfortunately, unable to crush a mozzie ... So, mozzie should be the greatest fighter ... opps, but this thread abt generals ... I think Cao Cao shld be on the list too, right ??
cmeptb SG Hitler was nicknamed grofaz (grosse feldherr alles zeiten – greatest general of all time) by his own people but only in jest. He was lucky to have people like von Manstein, Guderian, Rommel working for him. If he hadn’t interfered or made the mistake of opening the 2nd front, well…
Shotgun SG I like General Tar Hun Kwai < Tank General, and Malcom "Ace" Granger < Air Force General. I think they are the world's Greatest generals, not forgetting BG LEE HL, and BG Yeo.
