If you want to think that way. 
It basically says that no matter what you are, in character,
height, size, physique, features, whatever... as long as you are
able to SEE, there are always people who love you for who and what
you are.
Perhaps there might even be a possibility that they can see a great
potential in what you will become that they stick close to
you.
Besides... you are still young. You have many years ahead to
"change your looks, body, height, blah blah blah..."
The point is: you as your natural self is what draws those close to
you. The aesthetics are more like chocolate coatings.
