Actually the RSN has been interested in a larger ship of LHA
size to supplement its 4 Endurance class LSDs. A ship of that size
would displace at least 12,000 tons and be aviation capable (assume
through-deck design) with 6-8 STOVL warplanes or 10-12 helicopters,
or a mix of both.

However, I feel that rather than spend money on this kind of
warship, the RSN could be better off increasing the number of
surface combatants such as 2-3 new frigates which could be an even
more capable variant of the Formidable class.
Priority should also be given to replace the 6 Victory class
corvettes and the written-off Fearless class PV (RSS
Courageous).
