One of my ex-sec sch classmate also invited me over, even though
I have not kept in contact with her for a very long time and wasn't
very close to her during schooling days either. And I realised that
she contacted almost everyone she knew back in sec school and maybe
her poly etc, because my other friends who were not close to her or
contacted her also got invited to work in Ventura Era. She kept on
pestering me to meet up with her and join her company even though I
wasn't that interested at all. Eventually I gave in...
When I got there, I realised that there were many young people
around too, mostly at around my age and are those army dudes. Then
my classmate started talking about the water-purifier and even did
some litmus test (as far as i can recall). And then, later she
intro me to her boss, who said that he is not a graduate and yet he
is making alot of money etc...then he told me to give up taking
degree in the future and said that degree does not mean you will
get a good pay and good job.
That time i kinda pissed already, then the boss started showing me
the pyramid thing, of how when you get higher and the people you
bring in to the company would contribute to your commission
whenever they sell some things. Then I realised that my classmate
is trying to use me to earn money.
Flatly rejected them in the face and went away...never heard from
her again. Don't know if she got surf sgforums, maybe she is too
busy recruiting people now.
