achiever SG Hi, does anyone on this forum have had any good or bad experience with RAV4 (either the 2wd or 4wd) How long have you own it, How is the FC like, sound insulation and any mechanical problems over that time.... or any other useful feedback. zerocool85 SG not a bad car.. nice.. driven it b4.. but dunno about fc and stuff.. but if ure thinking of buying it, maybe wait.. new one might come out.. im not very sure.. cuz rav4 has been in the market for quite sometime already.. car manufacturers tend to change model/facelift 2-5yrs?
achiever SG thanks zerocool, I think you're right, went down to Borneo yesterday and it appears Borneo is throwing lots of goodies to go with it, like leather seats, etc,etc but for what you get for $88k doesnt seem like good value for money. Will wait for 2006 model to be launch. Thanks
zerocool85 SG no problem.. it seems like ure interested in SUVs.. considered the Nissan Murano? Its a very nice car.. it's also a new model.. I guess FC will be high as its nissan badged but yet again, maybe newer models/technology will have better FC?
achiever SG thanks zerocool, after looking at recent pump prices escalating , I think FC is going to be my top priority. It's going to be my second car actually, so looking for a fun-looking sporty type (so I wont look too-apek driving one) hence the choice for SUV. And I'm afraid the Murano or Honda CRV may be a little petrol one month ago I just collected my new Toyota WISH 1.8 which I traded up from my 8 months old Toyota Altis. Surprisingly the WISH (cost only $76k) has better FC than the Altis and so many more features. I figured that to buy a parallel, better get one which is very common on the roads for a couple of years, so that parts and servicing is no-problem. this weekend will take a look at the new Suzuki Vitara -not sure if this is a 2-wheel drive.& will check on the FC also Thanks for your input brother, keep in touch. achiever SG sorry - typo error,missed a couple of words earlier. Worried the Murano will be a little petrol thirsty. So now my emphasis will be sporty, fun type SUV, with FC as top priority. sorry for lousy typing earlier...cheers...have a great weekend

zerocool85 SG petrol prices are indeed escalating right now.. i have my opinions and perhaps u would take into consideration... 1. you already got a good FC car to use on a daily basis. 2. murano fits your requirement in style/sporty-type 3. it will be your second car, you can chose to use it on weekends for relaxation.. 4. my cousin has a vitara.. it is not bad.. but i do not really like it.. 6/10 star (my rating) 5. sat in a stationary murano.. i felt cosy in it, yet spacious. since its a 2nd car, i ASSUME it won be ur main transport? hehe.. although its slightly pricey but, we do live once, ENJOY while u can~ don get me wrong, im not promoting for nissan or watever, but it is one of the latest SUVs in town.. just my 2cents..
[3Dd|E] SG Thinking of getting the 3doors or 5doors? If u r looking at the 3doors i think u have to get a second hand one as japan have stop production on it.(Don think PI have anymore left) The 5doors (2wd) is around $$85,000 +-. (NEW) FC really depend on how u drive, My FC is around 11-12km / L. (3door). Heard dat the 5 doors version will take abit more petrol as it weight heavier. Hope this help.
