actually ar... if you know what to do, you can minimize the cost... cases like this don't need to go to high court one... the smaller courts can... I can't remember them...

some more, if you got clear evidence, don't need lawyer one... just show the clear evidence the judge will be convinced...

but don't think it will work one... Laughing There is no compensation to case with no damages...

Friend and i : Ms XXX, that chao-ah-lian keeps spreading rumours about friend and also causing her reputation to slip downwards. Afterall, she is a student leader and needs some face ma.

Friend and i: of course la!
Ms XXX: hmmm, i think its just one of those common stuff la. I will try to resolve this thing.

I also told my form teacher about it and she couldn't do anything much except giving me advice not too get too upset about the rumours and just focus on my studies.

Ok, perhaps you should tell ppl (be it your relatives/yr other friends/church ppl) about yr friend's problems and ask them for opinions. Maybe they know better.

If all else fails, just tell ur friend to let the matters die down by itself. As some ppl say, rumours will go away one day. Tell her to be strong because you don't want the gang to see her as a weakling.

Such people you should nt waste so much time on them. Dont care and dont bother is the best. Let them do what they want and you just be yourself. These monkies just got nothing better to do with thier life except looking for trouble. As a friend, show her some support and guide her. Tell her to ignore those people's comment. Actually, when this rumors spreads around fast, the victim will sure to suffer from tremenduos pressure ... but the rumors will end fast as well. If you look at it in the future, you will feel that this is nothing.
