Go to changi if u want more challenge...

Pitot SG

Well, I'm not looking for challenge; just want to have fun and canoe without having to worry about the hassle of mass-rentalling and going with a big group.

If you go to any PA sea sports club, you need to be already certified to use their kayaks.

RvnRooRon84 SG

Nope I'm not a certified kayaker. Smile

I was just thinking if its possible to just rent canoe just like that; you know, like renting bicycle. Embarassed

So that means if no cert, means you can't go out and kayak is it?

Allright then, thanks for the info! Smile

Pitot SG

so if ur not certified. u cant rent their kayaks..

so can forget abt changi or kallang...

maybe u try mac ritchie... i dunno..

RvnRooRon84 SG

Yup, came across it just now but it didn't quite give much information on canoe rental and all that. Thanks for the site though! Smile

If you go to any PA sea sports club, you need to be already certified to use their kayaks.

So there's no other organisations or places that allows non-certified people to rent out canoes and just canoe?

TYING SG

can apply for lessons if you want.

Pitot SG

alternatively u can register for lessons lor..

1 star is only 2 days..

can start ur own class with ur own friends..

RvnRooRon84 SG

Already was looking at macritchie but they say rental has ceased for now without giving any reasons. Sad

So was wondering if there's any other places available. Crying or Very sad

Must at least have someone with the 1 star kayak cert or the car with you then you can rent a kayak.. That's the case when I last been there.. East coast if I'm not wrong..

RvnRooRon84 SG

Hmm how about at reservoirs? I thought they opened up some reservoirs to public for water sports? I know Macritchie is currently closed; there's also Bedok right? Any other reservoirs such as them?

d3sT1nY SG

That I dont know lor.. Never been there before.. Laughing
