Robert M. Pirsig:

"When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called Religion."

banzie SG

By your quote..... then atheism in itself is a religion...

[email protected] SG

Atheism is not a religion cos there r not a set of rules to follow. It is something we feel without anyone teaching us anyhing.

JansenX SG

Richard Dawkins

Ito_^ SG

so is faith. Laughing

banzie SG

It takes faith to believe in atheism..... it takes faith to believe in religion.... faith comes from beliefs.... so still athesim in a way is a form of religion as its also an belief.... ... and maybe can't explain religion... neither can Science prove athesim

[email protected] SG

Atheists believe in science and not faith based religions.

banzie SG

Religion believe in Science too... Creationist believe science prove the existance of God.... since Science is open ended... looking at different perspective you'll see different... atheism or creatisonist...

missqi SG

Prove God.

davidche SG

It cant. You are very narrow minded to generalise and say that science oppose religion.

davidche SG

good one. richard is a fool to anyhow say the quote.

Cystaire SG

Actually science can only expand what we know about nature. Religion is in charge of the supernatural aspects.

Unfortunately, nature has become bigger and bigger and more interesting and more detailed than even scientists can imagine.

The "space" left for the supernatural has been shrinking everyday.

Cystaire SG

Creationists are not scientists.

Cystaire SG

What quote?

Richard Dawkins is a clear-headed man who doesn't like to mince words. Thus he has as many fans as he has enemies.

He is not a fool unless you believe that people who don't believe in your God is automatically a fool.

Marco_Simone SG

Religion is the opiate of the people. ~Karl Marx.

banzie SG

Evolutionist can say all they want about how evolution works etc how true and such…. but till this day.. no one had yet to find the source in earth where the initial of all life form started from… Loops holes are still everywhere…. creationist are scientist too… they are people who study science and believe that science doesn’t contradict God but a study of what God had created… They never disagree with science… science is still unable to prove certain things… many things are still left unanswered. Especially questions like ESP etc etc … do you know why most Scientist have religion? Simply it takes greater faith to believe everythign is created out of nothing. Its more logical to trust in a God. Because there are just too many things unexplainable by the current atheist school of thoughts..
