dahliamorie SG have both aircon and fan in my room. prefer the fan though. but sharing bedroom with sister and she prefers the aircon. so every night on aircon and i always adjust it to 25deg. :X
dark_snowboy SG either one works out, sometimes i just sleep without both, to dreamland once i go on my bed
tomsss SG <<<<>>>>> do you leave an open cup of water in your a/c room when u sleep overnight? cos i heard that some ppl when wake up in the morning throat dry dry and pain.... the cup of water helps meh?
ditzy SG And make my air conditioner work harder? Are you crazy? When I was in Oz, during winter. The ambient relative humidity in my room was like 25% max. I did this little experiment and marked the level of a cup of water left it in my room overnight for 12 hours. I slept in the same room. When I went to check the water level again, the amount evaporated was negligible. Back in singapore I did something similar with a hygrometer which records the min and max levels, and I reset it before use in an air conditioned room overnight, yes with me sleeping again inside. Checked the next day, relative humidity lowest was just above 38%.
jaydunkfull SG always fan on, its cheaper and towards morning it gets cooling, sometimes more comfortable than with the air con on for people with sensitive nose, fan is better
Dead_Man_Inc SG same. i on air con less than 5 times a month, and i seldom on it when i sleep. i just like to have fresh air from surroundings so i on the fan when sleeping, and open the windows.
