Been lurking on some foreign defense boards for some time. Can't
help but feel a little embarrassed for some Singaporean posters
when they are too gung-ho in presenting the SAF and are too
defensive when poked (or baited) by other posters on such
forums.
Anyway, is there any way to get the message to these guys that they
might try to be a little bit more diplomatic and careful when they
post on such forums as a lot of people tend to read and stumble
across these boards. I am not sure about the maturity of the people
posting on these boards, but some Singaporeans come across as
really obnoxious and defensive sometimes....
As a Singaporean and someone who has done his time, I can't help
but cringe at the remarks and discussions sometimes, especially
when some foreign posters start dangling obvious baits.
No real point to this post, but just wanted to get it off my chest.
