then again if u're not comparing to those performance cars, then
what are u comparing it to? Most cars nowadays have decent pace. If
u're comparing it to other 2l cars, i believe most would clock in
similiar pace with your car. If thats the case then its just
another "average" car, isn't it?
anyways i checked. your car does 0-100 in 9.7s if it is manual,
according to the stats i got off one of the mazda europe website. I
can tell u most base spec 2.0l Mercedes n BMWs does that as well
despite a much heavier body. In fact its quite normal for a 2.0l
car to clock in under 10s. In fact the new Mercedes E200 does 0-100
in 9.6s, despite an AUTOMATIC transmission AND despite weighing in
at 2100kg, which is almost 300kg more than the Mazda 6.
So yes I'd call the Mazda 6 a decent car, because in today's
automotive market, that is the standard everyone must meet, that is
the level playing field. If Mazda had made this car say, 10 years
ago, then I'd have called it a fast car, but today, the bar has
been raised.
