#$%^&* SG Do your fingers hurt when you play too much guitar? I think it's the most painful musical instrument. When you play piano for example, you will not have any pain. Or if you play any wind instrument, maybe that will even make you a good swimmer. Train your breath. Only guitar is very painful. How to solve this problem?

technoboy SG Nah, play until a point in time, there wont be much pain when playing and your finger will be the same before u started playing the guitar. That is if you got a good guitar and not one with super high action.

anhydrouscoppersulphate SG playing wind instruments, singing uses your diaphragm. swimming i dont think so. when you start playing the guitar it hurts but over time skin hardens and dead skin forms then wont feel the pain anymore and can press harder
