The fact is, todays CPU power is more than enough for 90% of
people.
Compare web-browsing, emailing, office apps, play dvd, mp3s
on a single core and dual core, or even an under-clocked single
core,
u will not even notice the difference.
Besides many PCs in work places, do not do much more than the above
tasks.
Unless u hardcore gamers and do profressional video editing.
As for over-clockers, they are losers with nothing better to
do.
avoid P4..so many members in the P4 family which 1 u tokin
about
P4 is inefficient by design.
