MooKu SG ah so anyway today in class, after the lecturer finished with a topic, a lady spoke up and asked if he was going to go through the tutorials. this lecturer is here to take over a previous lecturer who went back to the corporate scene suddenly... so the notes we're using now are not compiled by him, by the way. so the lecturer said no, that it's not his practice to go through tutorials after each topic. then the lady said something like, "but we prefer this way" (who is "we"?? :roll AHA! and then the lecturer said "okay, but i don't have the tutorials with me today." then later during the break, the lady went to the front to speak to the lecturer.. apparently she was very unhappy about it... then the two ahh, speak so loud until last row of the hall can hear
laurence82 SG well, the lecturer said okay but this time he doesnt have tutorials right? means he will do it next time right? i think the lady should give him a chance bah, where got new lecturer come in bash him over small things de?

MooKu SG yes... but... i don't know you've experienced this before, one of my year 1 modules, which happens to be the foundation unit related to this unit the lecturer is teaching, the first lecturer left after a few months too. And then this unit, the first lecturer also left after a few months. I don't know if the lecturers really had to leave suddenly due to some strong reasons but I hope they have some policy in place to guard against lecturers abandoning the units before they complete teaching it. It's tough for both the students and the lecturer taking over cos the students may find it a bit hard to follow what the new lecturer is teaching, and I'm sure the new lecturer finds it uncomfortable to teach with notes that he didn't compile. by the way have you seen the SIM thingies around? the dustbins with legs sticking out from it? I saw them in school... and my friend told me they were in town too.
