Hi Guys,

Does any1 own a OPC Vios ??
Im thinking of getting one now but lack of some advice.

1. Know that BM doesnt offer any 0% down payment stuffs ??
How much do i need to pay ?? (min. amt)

One of the SE in Borneo told me i need to down 20% ?
is that true ?

2. How long do i need to wait till my new vehicle arrives ??

3. Is the insurance for OPC different from normal cars ?

Can the 80% loan includes the insurance ??

for ex, vios costs abt $58k now.

58k - 17k (opc rebate) = 41k .... + 2k (insurance) = 43k

20% of 43k = $8600 ... means i have to pay this amt ???

is my calculations correct ?

Car loan = loan to buy car, not insurance! The car price is usually communicated to the bank for approval of car loans, insurance is a seperate issue.

Do consider carefully, it isn't worth it to squeeze youself dry for a car. There are much more involved than just the car price.

I'm looking at OPC vios also. You looking at 1.5s? How much it's $41k? I was quoted $36k+. (went down to the showroom over the weekend)

I dont think insurance is considered part of the 20% for the car loan.

20% will be $7443.

The price for 1.5E deluxe is $53776 now... No idea when going to buy... Wanna bring my wife for test drive first. I'm still looking at other cars also, but vios tops the list.

heard that the interest for 10 yrs loan is going up to 3% .... is that true ??

Planning to take the minimum loan $20k and repay the fastest period, 1 year.

Got financial backing from my mother-in-law..:-)

think i'll put 20% downpayment
loan 7 yrs

interests below 7yrs is 2.5%
above 7 yrs is 2.7%

1. 10% downpayment is sufficient. Which SE tried to smoke u?
2. About 1 - 3 mths. If it's manual, it might take longer.
3. I think so. Check with the SE for more details.

yup OPC must 20%....

anyway its good too cos it lesser down ur burden on the interest.
since its an OPC, im thinkin of putting down mayb 30 - 40 %.

otherwise, the interest is killing ppl.

if ppl have extra cash, i wld suggest put down more downpayment...
dont let the bank earn..

Read from another forum that LTA might be shortening the timing for OPC.. Sad it's a rumor... up to you to believe or not....
