Execution shortened Ex Wallaby 05?

Heard this from a MWO who was a perm staff in taiwan before ....

we're gonna pang seh taiwan training not because of any political reasons, but because of the locals there ... every little provincial political hopeful will take a swing at us and our training there everytime elections come along .... along with locals who tries to squeeze the SAF at every turn ....

he says that if a local farmer discovered his generator was spoilt for example, he'll just walk up to the camp and demand to see the commandant ... saying that SAF troops damaged it ... even though the nearest SAF trooper might have been miles away .... and voila ! ... he gets a brand new one ...

same thing for failed ginger crops, fruits, etc .... if an SAF unit passes by a farm on the road ...... some farmer may just come along and say that unit damaged his land or something .... it got way way out of hand because there was once a camp commander who started this policy of "make nice" to the locals ... and so now we kenna taken advantage of at every turn ....

Once there was some repair/renovation works to be done to one of the ROC camps and SAF was offered service by i think 2 different contractors.
1st one came and demanded that SAF must hire him or else.....
Camp commander ask him to relax blahblah.... then that contractor A left.
Contractor B came an hour + later to discuss with camp commander. THen all of sudden, contractor A burst into the commander's room and pull that 2nd contractor out and wallop him. Next he threaten the camp commander blahblah...
Then Tiger Force activated... draw M203 lah, SAW lah..
Its one of the arti camps...
JUst one of the few experiences that mi regular campmates share with us NSFs during TCSS sessions.. Mr. Green

It's still better to train in Australia or America.

Another reason to reduce training in ROC is possible conflict
with PRC.

LKY once requested former PM LI PENG to allow
enough time for Sg to pull out SAF if
PRC to deal with ROC.

mmm actually been taken advantage of when training overseas is rather common. during my finale ex in thailand as an arty cadet, there is a farmer who claimed that our WP rounds caused his house to burn. and saiyok camp did pay him money!! the thing is that our WP rounds would have never landed that far from the impact area, and even if it did, it would have done more than causing a fire.

so has there been any confirmed time that saf will stop training in ROC?
