The logic is quite simple actually. The reason why breaking ur
M-16 will upset the zeroing is cos of the shift in ur eye position
in relation to ur upper reciever.
Both the foresight tip and rear sight apperture is located on the
upper reciever of the M-16, the lower reciever, is where the butt
is, where u rest ur cheeks and place ur eye behind the rear
sight.
When u break the rifle, and fix it back, there MAY be a shift in
position on how the upper n lower reciever rest together. Since u
need both a 3 point alignment to aim, (foresight, rearsight, eye)
it may cause ur aiming to be off, and requiring u to re-zero.
Sar-21... i have no idea how to zero the scope... its fixed... LAD
i know have to zero tho.
