pierre^^ SG plbv? u mean normal digi cam cannot take photo w/o flash well ah the sony 1 looks nice but 700 dollar..wah
PointBlue SG PLBV = Problem Lies Behind Viewfinder. In darker lighting w/o flash, your camera will attempt to shoot at a lower shutter speed. Every single camera does that regardless of make and model. Your handshake will cause the image to be blurred at low shutter speeds. A good advice is to keep your shutter speed faster than the reciprocal of your focal length that your lens is at in 35mm or 135 film terms. If you don't know what that means, just turn on the flash or turn up your ISO. If you still insist on a new camera, then get one with Anti-Shake technology to help you shoot at lower light levels.
PointBlue SG Yes, that is how you turn up your ISO. ISO increase = shoot better in low light, and vice versa. Your ISO is basically the sensor gain of your camera. It is similar in effect to the film days where there are different speeds of film, such as ISO100, ISO200 etc. Note that turning up the ISO will reduce image quality in the form of increased noise.
Haoz30 SG wah, wanted to give advices de, but seems like PointBlue more pro Anyway hor, dun get Sony.... their super steady shot bluff 1. no matter how also cannot get steady shot Nikon S5 is light and has a 2.5" LCD. But slow between shots. I would recommend Canon IXUS 60 (~$499), Samsung NV3 (~$499) or Fujifilm's Z2/3 or F11 (~$499 i believe). Only Samsung NV3 comes with anti-blur though. Got a few gd models lah, find 1 day go Best Denki pester their salesman teach u
pierre^^ SG thanks pointblue and others for advice except ditzy ask me so many question, but no contribution!!! haha
play_n_play SG if u like the high end one, buy nikon or canon... if u like cheap one, buy kodak or HP...
weeie SG if you like good night shots.. can try fujifilm one.. best night shots for point and shoot digital cameras. not dslr
XTransbus SG iām using canon powershot A-410 3.2MP. It takes great shots every time (you can trust me on this) uses an SD card (nowadays SD are getting cheaper so can save lots of money). Got auto focus and many other features, and very user friendly. The downside is the video. Video got no audio and quality is not up to standard. But the image quality can make others cry seriously
