KaYaBrEaD SG Pre-PMA 2006: Fujifilm has unveiled the successor to the award-winning FinePix F10/F11, with the world's first digital compact camera to feature an ISO 3200 sensitivity at full resolution. The 6.3 megapixel FinePix F30 features the newly developed sixth generation Super CCD and Fujifilms groundbreaking Real Photo Processor II. The F30 also features a new intelligent flash system which uses the cameras sensitivity to combine natural foreground illumination with balanced exposure in the background. http://www.dpreview.com/news/0602/06021403fujif30.asp go to the link.. Fuji is good for its ISO plus it have manual override.. to a certain extend u can adjust your apueture and shutter speed... :>
KaYaBrEaD SG A digital camera with a entry level of SLR.. the price im not wrong u can get is around 649 ba.. plus 1GB of XD memory card and free batt. Look out for the next IT fair.. coming soon…. or u may want to get the F11 is also not bad but less ISO1600, Noise level also quite low…
Gedanken SG The other issue is the shape of the camera. personally, I hate those little boxy jobs - they're awkward to hold and keep steady. For the past few years I've been quite happy with my Canon PowerShot S1IS. It's got 10X optical zoom, manual setting options, takes AA batteries so I've always got available power and it's comfortable to hold. The S1's now been superceded with the S3IS which has 6MP compared to the S1's 3.2, and it also has a macro setting for the lens which the S1 didn't. Rather than using the automatic setting, I usually go for manual and get some half-decent results in various lighting conditions. Natural sunlight: Overcast: Light box: Red tungsten light: The one key issue I have with the S1 (and I believe this applies to the S3 as well) is shutter lag. I miss a lot of shots because the moment is over by the time the camera's done thinking about what it's going to do. In a few months I'll probably move over to a Canon 400D DSLR and hope that cures my ills.
PointBlue SG D80 or D200, dunno which to choose leh... if I get D80 then I will be able to get the Nikkor 80-200 f2.8 also...
PointBlue SG I have a friend who owns a S3IS, tried it and I thought it was not bad for a prosumer camera. Didn't like the tiny grip though too used to SLR grips
Haoz30 SG With ur skills, u might be better off with a D200. Personally I find the D200 with the tele lens a bit too heavy for my liking =P And I'm not yet pro enuff to put the D200 to full use.
PointBlue SG I no skills la, luck only Anyway, I think I rather get the D80 since the specs aren't that different, and camera resale value falls a lot while the lens won't depreciate as much.
thelesis SG I am Canon supporter.. the rest is like cannot make it.. Maybe you can consider Panasonic camera !!
