sue_282 SG nope, but i guess what she is impling is that IJ pupils are capable in scoring better grades than some other schools in singapore . Also, she meant that if they can`t even get "perfect scores" or perhaps failing or somewhat is their "ideal" score . it very much means that she does not have the ability to speak proper english since she is unable to even pass a test. note: Examinations papers are set to test our understanding of the certain language/subject .
sue_282 SG i agree with you but not totally . the report is a propaganda . ok. maybe the part where IJ girls wear the belts at the hips are true but i don`t think that is a bad point isit ? but the rest of it is so not true. Anyways, who doesn`t have flaws ?
sue_282 SG i am seriously concerned and taken aback by what you said. How do you know that they are really from IJ schools ? Have you not been taught not to treat everything you hear, read ... as the truth ???? people may even lie right in your face & you may not even realise , not to mention the net world.
sue_282 SG haha, i somewhat agree with you but then again, the percentage of the IJ girls getting good results is BIG compared to the other schools. Its the way the teach us, i guess... the environment . But of course , this is just an opinion of my own and that i must say the IJ educational system can contribute much more to having " good results " but its still up to the determination of the pupil herself. and there is such thing is a lousy school.but maybe not in singapore.

skyfoo SG ya. in case u mistaken me, i'm fully against CHIJ nor fully for SPH. my point is that part of the allegations are undeniable yet the committee claims otherwise. if what's mention is true, no matter abit or alot, they shld recognise it and do sth about it instead of demanding a public apology from SPH and maintain their "pure" image.
