Delta 5 SG It all boils down to politics and budget concerns... Look at Japan and South Korea... Their air forces comprise mainly American aircraft just like our RSAF.
tankee1981 SG What are the disadvantages of having an airforce where it is predominantly equipped with planes from a single country and in this case a superpower? Does the advantages of doing so outweigh that of its disadvantages? Comments please.
kotay SG I was trying to figure that out myself too ... could be the article is not accurate or could be that there were other factors (like commonality with helos for the troops). Guess we'll never know why.
