It doesn't look very good on the soldier in the picture most
probably due to the colour and the material used on the exterior to
cover the helmet. But in war looks doesn't matter much. The third
link's article says that the new helmet is slightly smaller(8%)
than the one its replacing. Come to think of it,it really looked a
bit small in the picture. The article warned of more
casualties(30%) in Iraq and Afganistan due to this slight decrease
in size. Can anyone find some info on the helmet we are using now
to make a comparism? Then maybe we can see whether we also need to
have a replacement. Thanks
