HARM isn't worth much on a platform not outfitted for the wild
weasel role. Firstly the platform aircraft will be in grave danger
since dedicated jammers and sharp maneuvering is required. Hence
the hawk is really a sitting duck if it tries to adop t such a
role.
Without a HTS, the HARM has a good chance of losing its target, and
accuracy diminishes as the radar is turned off. Tho it will close
in on last known position, its can still miss the "position" by
quite a bit. Its quite blind seriously.
