spacecraft

ceecookie SG

I remember there's one spacecraft that is unmanned and right now drifted too far away for earth's most powerful satellite to track..Inside there's information about earth and we people in the form of statues and discs and all, intended for Extraterrestrial life..

anyone know the name of the craft?

DeepSpace SG

Hi Ceecookies, its the 4 probes that are named Pioneer 10 and 11, Voyager 1 and 2 that have reached the outer solar system carrying a golden disc that depict life on earth. Pioneer 10 and 11 carry a plague showing the postion of the Sun and Earth aka a map while Voyager 1 and 2 carry a golden disc containing sights and sounds from Earth.

Also, Earth ground control will be able to communciate with the Voyager probes till 2010 as the signals are too weak to be picked up from Earth by then.
