Haoz30 SG

I know there's plenty of thread out there regarding this issue already. Don't know if there's a link to the petition though. I also know that most online petition doesn't work, but heck, does it hurt juz to type out ur dismay?

you think the gabrament gives a $*&^#???

p.s. we never got to say anything against the GST... so in the world of the "elite" our silence means consent... and with that, he got the mandate of 100% of the people to increase GST Laughing

i think this is his vengence on us for having such an ugly "mandate" like Ho Ching

I support it, because it’s to help poor people and to make society compact.

#$%^&* SG

That is precisely the challenge facing Singapore as the rich-poor gap is widening and the traditionally compact society is under threat. You should be glad you have a government who is not afraid of taking decisive actions.

Petition ? What's the point.

I'm neutral in this GST hike, in fact, my family is 100% neutral about it. If you were to look at it in an economical point of view, it's beneficial.

tomsss SG

cannot hold mass protest outside istana or parliment house... so we can only hide behind computer and flame at our hearts content Laughing

dragg SG

they will not bother even if you kill yourself to protest.

they are telling us the gst will be increased from 5 to 7%, not asking us for an opinion.

learn to understand the difference!!!

We can sign the petitions and submit to the United Nation Humanitarian.

We can set up a meeting point and people will flock in to sign the petition book.
