TehJarVu SG i dun know wat they learned, cos i looked down on them i took chinese in chinese (including translation which had to be in both languages), but it was just my minor u no spiak kar chng ang ang language at home ah?

MooKu SG heh i'm a lousy linguist the only language i can speak confidently well is English, but even at that I'm pretty average my paternal grandparents would speak to me in teochew, my mom would translate if she's around and i'd reply back in mandarin, which, fortunately, they understood... or if nobody else is around i'd just stand there speechless, looking damn paiseh. i can't speak teochew... ok la maybe a smattering of it... but i cannot quite differentiate between teochew and hokkien sometimes
