tankee1981 SG Yes, Singapore as a city is unsuitable for star-gazing. Tekong have a beautiful star studded sky on clear nights.
Ponders SG Even tekong not good enough lah. must go some island or some city.. where there is no urbanised city in its 250-300km radius. Then it is REALLY beautiful. I once was in some remote corner of the world... there are no urbanised area in the immediate 500km. The sky is practically white with stars. And every few seconds.. there will be shooting stars. The only pity... my gf wasn't beside me

alwaysdisturbed SG go climb mountain loh i went once and really nice. the sky was star filled and like what ponders mentioned, shooting stars every few seconds. really damn nice and its not so humid!
tankee1981 SG Yes, i agree. I have been up the Himalayan mountains in Nepal and the sight is simply breath-taking! Not to mention very cold too!
