smudgey SG Oh by the way i was also wondering about electronics... Camera and video cam.... will the cold weather cause these things to 'hang'? any way to prevent it???? plus if it does 'hang' when we return to singapore.... will it damage the camera or video cam???
kenn3th SG yea, there might be a problem of condensation, so normally what i would do is to store it in a warmer place eg: nxt to heater to play safe. but now most products are tested to extreme temperatures,so condensation might nt happen..
Cool-gal SG for camera using AA batteries, chances of 'hanging' would be higher. for most electronic products, are so called 'not' allowed anything below than 5'C. as the moist will get into the processor chip thru any openings (eg:battery compartment) thus spoiling it. always prepare a towel or something thick to cover it up once finishing taking few shots.
Bontakun SG Can't advice... Everybody body temp diff and If its sub urban area, better dress more. Da last time I went to Seoul, it was -7 degrees. I wore only 2 sets of clothes and thats it! Nothing to cover my nect or face though... dats da cold part...
Pommes frites SG i wore normal long johns...ard 2-3 layers of clothes plus a thick jacket. shawls can be used as scarfs ard the neck( this is what i did) and beanie...to cover my ears (really really pain) and not forgetting gloves!!!!a must!!!!! i also wore 2 layers of tights when wearing skirt( ai swee mah..)hehe...
Bontakun SG Dunno, I naturally have warmer body temperature than others... In aircon rooms I dun need to cover myself unless its breezing 18 degrees full power.
Pommes frites SG go john little...coz i feel winter time quite ex. if shes afaird of cold, can buy those heater pad thingy...its in small packs...for body or feel also have...not sure whats its called...winter time got sell...
Space1999 SG dont worry too much about electronics, unless you are going to extreme weather like antartic , nothing really bad will happen, they are quite durable
