Troy437 SG Everytime I change my car filter, the power is dam good, esp my turbo air intake really enhance the pick up/change lane power. I really feel like changing my air filter once every three months. Is it too fast or shd I just use vacuum to clean them?
tailslide SG turbo is turbo. turbo is found at the exhaust manifold. intake is intake. intake is attached to the intake manifold. so, see mee si "turbo air intake"? i think u get more power from changing ur engine oil then getting a new filter every 3 months. air intakes (specially stock ones) can last half a year at least (depending on how much u drive) b4 it gets dirty enuff to warrant a need for washing/replacement.
wbucket SG Isn't the basic of turbo is a fan in the exhaust that pull out the combusted material from the engine and it also power the fan in front that compresses air and squeeze them into the engine. ...the turbocharger uses the exhaust flow from the engine to spin a turbine, which in turn spins an air pump... Anyway, K&N is the brand of a after-market filter that is supposed to increase air flow and last longer plus it is reuse-able with simple cleaning kit/step.
