2nd . . .pls lah there is a speakers corner for blasting sg lalready. Enough of politics here already. Military affairs only full stop.
3rd . . .if it is freedom of speech i am sure mods are also allowed to voice their displeasure over certain issues as a regular forumite right? Whatever that sounds bad to me may sound good to you and vice versur.

Today we can always run to Australia, USA, China, Batam....if there is a war. Why fight? Only the rich and powerful will gain......you and I get nothing........we only get ourselves hurt so that others get rich........think about it and don't be fooled........don't you think you'll get a better life if you run? You are wrong, if you are Singaporean in the first place, during time at of tension before the war start, you will be recalled.

Second is, no male Singaporean will leave SG becos the govt will not let you leave!!

Next how to have better life when you are stateless and your property are in SG, and your Sing dollar will then be worthless if SG fall!!!

If you are coward , than you should leave SG now, sell your property in SG etc before any possible future conflict, since you are not man enough to protect your country and your family!!!

Pardon me saying bros, but I seem to have this feeling that this 'Dr Who' is not local, or more precisely he's M'sian.

Why?

He/she tends to brand Singapore as Israel who is out to conquer M'sia, he questions why Sing guys will want to die for this land etc...

I doubt Dr Who and Idwar are clones. If Dr Who were Malaysian living across the Causeway, he would not know that ITE Simei existed. Even if he did, I doubt he would have any knowledge that the mirrors in the college's five-star lavatories were being vandalised.

As regards to our closest neighbour, I believe the way should be a way of peace and cooperation. When our ancestors came to this land, they were not chased away by the natives......the chinese actually took over the riches of the land.... we should be gracious to the natives.

(Look at Philippines-30,000 Chinese killed 200 years ago....Look at Indonesia-hundreds of Chinese girls raped as weapon of terror by army elements in Jakata a few years ago......these are our real potential enemies.....not the malaysians, who are our flesh and blood.)

In 1969 Malaysian May 13 riots, the killings were due to a Victory parade organised by the Opposition parties. During this parade, chinese hotheads did misbehave and threatened the Malay hold to power........in response, Chief minister Harun organised a gathering of UMNO supporters who ran amock, attacking all the Chinese they encountered when they streamed out of Harun's house.

Chinese gangsters retaliated by attacking innocent malays........ The army was called in when the Police lost control......The situation became worse when the Malay Regiment started to shoot at Chinese and ignored the malays.....

The authorities recognised the problem and quickly replaced the Malay Regiment with the Sarawak Rangers....The rangers, being natives of sarawak, were more impartial and put a stop to the riots. Officially 198 people lost their lives. Unofficial estimates put the toll at 4000.

This is a small incident compared with what happened in Indonesia/Philippines...
