Hi guys...im gonna complete my NS and going to uni soon.
I need a car for my transportation.
Im thinking of 1) Tuscani 2) Celica 3) RX-7 Efini 4)Mazda6

Can anyone list me a pros and cons? or other make/model to recommand? (Budget ard 85k)

Tuscani or Celica lor... Rx-7 will kill you with it's fuel consumption... Mazda 6 kinda big... Even better... just get a Lancer or civic can liao... can fit more ppl too...

You frens will treat you like their chauffeur... better to get a nice saloon car now... 2 coupes sometimes attract too much attention...

Definitely not worth buying... How you going to support the fuel consumption, parking and fines? if accident, who pays? You have enough money for that? What you mean by good outlook, in uni, girls don't care what car you drive... as long as it's a car, they'll already be impressed...

Which uni are you going? Do you stay far from it? I stay in the east, my uni's in the west, I take train everyday... You don't NEED a car for transportation, rather, you WANT a car for transportation... If you stay as far as me, driving the Rx7 will most definitely kill you... the gas station attendant will be your new best fren... drive down ECP is enough to make your fuel needle drop significantly...

Just get a normal saloon car... can fit more ppl too... at most, get the sports version...

need transport == kelisa.. got 4 wheels and can move..

want is sometimes having to park the car at home becoz u cannot afford the petrol $/parking fees... but u wan the car anyway

The RX7 is not an easy car to drive plus there is no more omv since it’s a coe car. Hence, it will depreciate at more than 10k per annum. It is also a very old outdated car. A few years later, it will be worthless. It burns petrol at 5km/litre. I suggest u buy Celica. Depreciate at 6k per annum, comsumption at 13-15km/litre. The interior and age will be far newer. When people get in your car, they will also feel much more comfortable. The RX7 suspension is extremely stiff and rough.

Unless this is going to be your second car, I strongly suggest you do not buy the RX7. Given the massive horsepower and rear wheel drive, this car is very prone to skidding on wet roads. This car has taken many drivers by surprise and crashed spectacularly. The front wheel drive Celica with a more reasonable horsepower is far more forgiving. Did I mention the ultra uncomfortable ride in the RX7? Your bones will vibrate with every bump on the road. The Celica has a far more compliant suspension. Gals will love the ride in the Celica. Your future is bright, don’t risk your life with this kind of car. Buy the Celica.

haha with rising petrol prices, $1800 a month is barely enough to feed the modified twin rotary turbo engine. And the old rotary engines are not easy to maintain. Spare parts will be hard to find and expensive. And with all the modifications, you will not pass LTA inspection. If ROV stop you on the road, the car will be confiscated.

hrmm IMO... rx is definitely not a good choice. Drink fuel like plain water. If u are a practical person meaning u just WANT a car for ur own convenience rather den to attract babes, den its true kelisa or picanto is more den enuff for one. Or else get a honda jazz or mazda 3 or vios... i think these cars suits all kind of ages depending on the colour loh.

Use car attract babes no use one lah ... unless u are those who just go for flings. Materialistic gals dun last. Attract a gal by ur personality not by the wheels.
