Simple… buy real estate lor…. but the return not high if you’re looking for fast sell… I guess the more logical would be unit trust.. they are lower risk and quite high return as compared sometime even to shares… if you’re risk taker and know what you’re doing go for the shares… Finally you would like to invest… and you don’t like the ideal of sit at home and wait for money to grow… go for buisnesses… build your own business. But its your success rate very low… I think with your amount unit trust and the amount you earn every year is enough to feed your for a life time… if you’re a smart invester… I’m serious… image returns of 20-30% could yield 1++k to 3k a month… just stay home and kel ka can liao…

well,i think for u,u might want to invest in shares and stocks in developing countries like cambodia or vietnam.
perhaps invest in their utilities board which have been privatised.
espeically vietnam,the country might be poor but there is annual economic growth and the market is not saturated yet,and what i meant by that is as the coutry develops,there will be more affluence and higher energy consumption by their huge population and industrial usages.
in the long run of 10 years,there shld been huge gains!

I guess some correction on the stock market maybe approaching... coz I heard many talk abt stocks these few months.. when too many at the same direction, It may not be the same anymore...

The best way to grow $$ to me is building your own business... if u do it well, u can hv your $$ back within 3mths, and the rest are juz bonus... To mention other benefits like passive income, improving pple's standard of living, providing jobs opportunities for pple etc. and many more~ haha

I'm oso looking for other business opportunities...

BTW... I so bad in stocks that i lose 50% of my original capital on penny shares! BUt I'll be back... same... waiting for correction

Hey, i don't mean to be rude, but if u are serious abt reaping rewards for your monies the last place that u should be lookng for proper advice is in a forum like these. There are plenty of ways to reap returns on invesments, but u will need to consider the initial outlay and 'locking in' costs incolved in the various investments.

The key here is to balance the expected rate of returns for each option with the accompanying financial risks that it entail. Assuming that u are risk adverse, u would want a higher rate of return for investmens with higher risks.

Just be patient...1 yr or even up to 3 yrs is the longest I have waited. But the reward is really huge. Remember, the stocks market is always there, so why the rush?

I think you are very wrong to say this is the last place. It may not be the best place but certainly not the last place for me.

If I go for professional advice, they are generally good, but at the back of their mind, they are still asking you to buy something. Quota, quota, quota....

So I feel this place is good, because so far, no one has ask me to buy his/her service (yet).

One even suggested to invest in luxury watch which his/her dad had profited. If I go to a fund manager, he will ask me to look at his luxury watch. Got it?

I do follow EPL. Arsenal is the in-form team now. Chelsea is still a suspect at the moment, especially after losing their 1st choice keeper.

Fulham is worth taking a look for this weekend for good value. My advice, don't super duper whack on Chelsea.

What i meant is to wait for a STEEP market correction as mentioned in my previous reply about "waiting".

I had set this to be 30% off the current STI index before I will look at stocks. So, a wait of up to 3 years (or even longer) is possible.

If I am successful in business, I will not go for listing. Listing is bad for SMEs (to me at least from what I see).

When they are under pressure, they will look for businesses not related to their core strength.

And if that happens, they will soon lose their orginal passion of what they like doing.

If I let my rojak chefs to drive Mercedes, investor will say misuse of company funds. If I want to close shop for 10 days during CNY, they says it will be bad for this quarter reporting. Then, heck, where got life?
