I as a guy was proud and egoistic. My thinking in the past was
very "man" style. No "sorry", no "fault", I am lagi best, etc,
etc.
But slowly I saw my grandmother weaken day by day and I still have
not changed my thinking and values much at that time. I felt pain
but I do not know how to deal with it and partly is I am scared or
proud.
I still do my part as a grandson and care for her, but to me it was
never enough. I could have did more but I choked.
Only when she left did I realised what I had MISSED. She may be
naggy and stubborn, but she taught me one important thing: Cherish
your loved ones.
AND I thank her for teaching me that, because of her passing, I
learn how to care for my loved ones. To cherish them and NOT take
them for granted. Its not easy, but I am constantly reminding
myself regarding this.
Friend, we all only have one life on mother earth. We make full use
of it to do what we want and with a clear conscious. We have
passion and emotions. These are NOT weak for its the very same
things that makes us strong. Use it to strengthen your relationship
with the people whom you loved and care about.
Beers!
