how bad is the jam then.always went there abou 10pm,but sometimes jam like hell,but sometimes veri luucky,smooth as baby skin,even coming back on s'pore side.

do not expect the traffic to be smooth these few weeks with the tightening of security checks on both sides of the causeway. Esp when returning to singapore.

Off topic a bit, but I have to say. I think that 3/4 tank rule is just f*cking stupid!

What happened to free trade and consumer choice???

If petrol here so bloody expensive, then its my choice to go across the causeway to top-up!!!

Govt suppose to protect the people and their rights. Over here they just protect their own pockets.

there are some weird time zones where the traffic is free... at the motorcycle side.

1630-1645 (smooth there and back)
0900-0915 (smooth there, might jam on the way back)

during lunchtime it is smooth in and confirm jam on the way back.

then wats the point of going in JB to pump petrol, u r only earning that 1/4 tank.

somemore the to and fro journey will waste petrol too.

You are definitely right men.But we first have to protect our govt so they can protect us mah!!!! So we spend a lot $$ here then they r rich and no woory then they will "plan" on how to "protect" or"squeeze" us. and BTw free trade to their benefits not ours, so wat can we do???LL loh.......

I dun think such things will happen. Wat if the person is on a busines trip to KL?? Does it means that he will have to push the car back to Singapore??

If MY govt really impose a ban, there will be pple who will still sell in black market. Or even MY plate cars driving to spore to sell off 3/4 of his tank before returning to MY.

This is quite hard to control... If I did not remember wrongly they actually imposed a law against sg registered cars stating that sg cars are not allowed to pump more than 20litres of petrol. This was a few yrs back.

i go in top up 1/4 very alternate days. Each time spent abt RM25, in a week i spent abt RM80 topping up petrol there. RM 25=SGD 11 how much can $11 fill locally? the gauge dont even move. if u do it more often, u will actually find u r saving a lot. Btw, i stay woodlands. Wink
