Fake DVD Rw ?

I just brought SONY DRU 820-A from sim lim square. I went back home see inside, no warranty card. I was wondering if it was fake, usually these kinds of products have warranty card and i was shocked. I paid almost the same price that was sold in other shops as well. Any idea ?

Qn. 1) You still got the receipt?

Qn. 2) Did it works?

1. Yes, I do have the receipt

2. I did not try in my PC yet. I scared later I open the package, they might not believe me.
