Singapore Starlight officer's view on Taiwan army

The Chinese article carrying such comments 1st appeared in China.com :

http://military.china.com/zh_cn/critical3/27/20050330/12205469.html

According to the article, it said the original is in English, and appeared 1st in the Singapore Forum called JDS( anybody heard of such forum?)

Then, the article also fast spreaded to Taiwans military forums with hot discussions.
Here is the re-translated English version based on the Chinese article:

Furthermore, it even stirred international interests with discussion as far as in UK:

Are these comments really made and written by starlight unit office? then wheres the original?

Even this article is just a pure speculation, then whats your opinion ?

gary1910 SG

The problem with this is no one seem to know what the hell is JDS forum, one thing it does seem real experiences and no one have the original English version.

Could be written by a Taiwanese soldier, that is why no original english version as well as JDS forum?!?

LazerLordz SG

The only JDS forum is related to Java R&D..hmm..maybe this fella is in the Java circles.

also showed a photo of a guy (think he's the author) and says something about the pic being developed in the 1980s... The guy is wearing the very old version of the SAF jungle cap...

Even if true? Isn't it about 20 years too late to complain?

one-niner SG

not to mention a CDO back in the late 1980s..hmm just an observation. Why are their berets not very seasoned ? due to the supplier ?
