Stealth is not invincible, if you get close enough to a radar,
or are unlucky enough to have any microscopic flaws in your
aircraft construction, it will be far easier to see you, and once
the F117 is aquired, it is a dead duck. Stealth is not cloaking, it
is the delaying of detection.
And of course, the F117 is not exactly stealthy in the IR spectrum,
though it is far less observable then most other aircraft, in fact,
IR is one of the nuts that have yet to be cracked by stealth
engineers.
