unignal SG I think can just buy a PC with LCD monitor display, write some time telling program in full colour with beautiful animations, and hang the LCD up there. Worth every penny.

And, such a clock for a farewell gift ... lol , they dunoe it is a taboo to make clocks as gifts meh ... And also, let me tell u , while there is no need to repalce batteries in such clocks. It will automatically go haywire once in a while ... gd luck ...
